Katherine is an experienced Nutritional Therapist (mBANT and mCNHC) and Performance Coach working with a wide array of complex conditions including mental health such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders and neurodiversity. She has a first class honours degree in Nutritional Science and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Applied Neuroscience at Kings College London to enhance both personal and professional interest in the field of mental health and wellbeing. Prior to children and retraining as a Performance Nutritionist, she was an investment manager in the City, her first degree (BA Hons.) being in Economics (after a brief stint at medical school). Katherine has a very holistic approach and she may suggest some scientific, evidence-based testing to be really understand what is going on at a biochemical level and allow highly personalised recommendations.
As a GB Age group triathlete and duathlete, Katherine has a particular additional interest in working with endurance athletes and busy professionals who are looking to sustain high performance as they age. She lectures on Gastrointestinal Dysfunction in endurance athletes and Functional Testing for Athletes for the Centre for Integrated Sport and Nutrition; mentors other student and qualified Nutritional Therapists and is a qualiffed NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner.
